The Evo Cats have already caused a lot of furore on the market before their release. Most anglers always associate catfish spinning with quite heavy tackle. However, this rod series now shows that this does not have to be the case at all. For years, guides at the Po have used rods from Japanese brands that were often more than €700. Since we work with the best factories and the rods of our guide friends still had potential for optimisation, we took on the matter. The result is a spinning rod series that is second to none. The Evo Cats are lighter than some pike rods. They have such a sensitive tip that even lures weighing less than 20 grams can still be targeted at a distance. This is important, because catfish are often easier to outwit with smaller artificial lures. At the same time, large lures are no problem for the Evo Cats. In the fight you can feel the enormous lifting power of an Evo Cat blank. During the test phase, fish up to over 2.60 metres long were caught. Nevertheless, even with by-catches, such as asp, you can still have fun. We are convinced that more and more perch, pike-perch and pike anglers will now also turn their attention to catfish. The Evo Cats finally make light yet uncompromising catfish spinning possible. The 2.43 metre Evo Cat is a rod from the range with extra power in its backbone.
