With the Pro-Cat short and soft, we also wanted to do justice to anglers who like to use shorter and softer catfish rods when fishing from a hide. The rod looks very elegant due to its slim appearance. Nevertheless, the blank and the complete equipment is designed for uncompromising practical use. The rod, which weighs only 480 grams, has a rather softer action and thus guarantees enormous fun with the fight, even with smaller fish. Nevertheless, you still have enough power in your backbone even when fighting big catfish. Depending on the tying height, you can anchor up to about 150 meters with the Short and Soft. If the main line runs into the water, for example when rigging on a stone, even long distances are no problem. Each of our catfish rods is securely packed and delivered in a high-quality rod case.
