The Nasty Bait Gang Leader is a 9.5 cm long, flat-running wobbler that is specially made for zander fishing. However, it also catches perch, pike and asp. The shallow running depth of 0-0.5 meters makes it the ideal lure for fishing stone packs and shallow water zones. It magically attracts curious predators. The slim shape and weight of 13 grams accelerate the Gang Leader and enable targeted casts to fish a large area in a short time.
Our Gang Leader is available in many different color decors and new colors that have proven to be catchy in our tests are constantly being added. We use ultra-sharp treble hooks from the BKK brand for our Gang Leader wobblers.
Made from carbon steel, these hooks are extremely robust and impress with their performance. The shape of the Gang Leader enables realistic running behavior, the pressure waves emitted by it are perceived by the predator with its lateral line organ and thus finds its way to the bait even faster. Floating wobblers like our Gang Leader remain in place when they are stopped during the retrieve, which is often when the bite comes.
The 3D eyes create a further bite incentive. The Gang Leader is also available in UV-active models, which are often more catchy under certain circumstances, as they are activated by UV radiation and reflect light that is invisible to us humans. Fish can see UV light better and therefore UV active lures are often better perceived.
The Gang Leader can be cast and guided very well on light to medium-heavy spinning rods. A minnow is a fishing lure whose name translates to minnow, a small forage fish for predators. In English, long, slender lures are therefore often referred to as minnows. This term has also become synonymous with this type of lure in Germany.
The minnow is reeled in slowly and occasionally guided through the water with short strokes of the rod to make it flutter more strongly and simulate fleeing prey. Minnows are also ideal lures for zander anglers, as their shape appeals to the zander and fits in with its prey pattern. Experienced predator anglers have long appreciated the reliability of minnows.
