The N-Gauge Specimen rods are a highly versatile range designed for the specialist, recreational and specimen angler fishing natural and commercial waters. This latest series has been constructed from 30 and 40 ton tensile carbon to produce a progressive power action, meaning the rods flex continuously across the blank and gain increasing power as the rods are loaded further - perfect for drilling big fish. In addition to this action, the rods remain light, well balanced and extremely comfortable to handle. SEA-GUIDE anti-tangle guides with slim zirconia rings drastically reduce the risk of thin mono and braided lines 'snagging' on the end guide during the cast. Our three dual-tip rods with casting weights of 1.25 lb, 1.5 lb and 1.75 lb are perfect for feeder and float fishing in rivers and stillwaters. Each twin-tip rod has a tubular top section with a smooth, progressive action suitable for float and feeder fishing. The feeder top comes with two additional feeder tips that are matched to the test curve of each rod and are suitable for all feeder work on natural and commercial waters. The final rod in the series is the powerful 2.25lb barbel rod, which has an action designed for fishing with large 4-5oz feeders on bigger rivers when power is required for both casting and drilling hard fights.
