The Gamakatsu - G-Carp D-Rig MB3 is a special D-rig hook with a micro barb and an angled eye. This makes it ideal for sliding hair rigs. A1 contains carbon and vanadium and is heated for hardening using a special tempering technology and then cooled in oil. Gamakatsu hooks are therefore virtually indestructible and can withstand heavy use without any problems. Because the material is exceptionally strong and hard, it is possible to produce relatively thin hooks that can withstand loads that otherwise only extremely large and heavy hooks can.
