Buoyant imitation maize, soft enough to use on the hook or hair rig that is resistant to the attentions of nuisance species including Crayfish. Popup maize is best fished on a hair rig over a bed of real maize or corn.
It can be used popped up on it's own or in conjunction with real maize, to produce a critically balanced hook bait. As a guide: 1 grain will pop up a size 8 Carp hook.
