The Blade Shaker is a classic blade bait (or cicada) that we developed together with Uli Beyer. Uli has been successful with this type of bait, which can be cast incredibly far, for over 30 years. Together, we have now designed a lead-free cicada that fulfils 100% of Uli's wishes. The lead is really child's play. In principle, simply cranking it in is enough. The speed can vary depending on the location and time of year. Fast speed jigging in open water can also be successful. However, you should avoid classic jigging over the bottom because the blade shaker simply works best under tension. If you want to fish close to the bottom, you can also let the lure "sink" to the bottom with the help of different retrieving speeds and a slight pull during the "sinking phase". But the Blade Shaker is also super catchy when fished close to the surface. Its strong vibrations make the predatory fish really aggressive. We have deliberately opted for just one treble hook. This allows you to guide the Blade Shaker extremely close to the bottom, which can be very catchy. Due to the fairly vertical position in the water, the nose of the blade shaker can repeatedly hit stones or stir up the sand, which also drives many predatory fish crazy. The body also serves as a kind of spacer between the treble hook and the bottom. A second treble hook would only cause an unnecessarily large number of snags and, due to the relatively small lure size, would not really contribute much to a better bite. The Blade Shaker has 4 hook eyes. Attached at the front, the lure vibrates only slightly. You can use this front eyelet in very strong currents, for example. The further back you attach the blade shaker, the stronger it vibrates. In calm water, for example, you can use the third hole (from the front). Try out the different actions of the various eyelets at your fishing spot. The 25 gram version of the Blade Shaker is a good lure for large perch, zander and asp. But you can also use this bait size for pike.
