Even though Uli Beyer prefers stationary reels in most situations, there are areas of application where you cannot avoid a multi- or baitcast reel. If heavy baits over 120 g are thrown or even heavier baits are dragged, the strain on the “casting finger” or also on the axis of the stationary reel is simply too great. With such loads, the Big Bait Cast comes into its own. The length, which is rather unusual for a big bait rod, has been tried and tested by Uli Beyer for many years. It provides the necessary casting distance and is also very useful when towing. The Big Bait Cast is equipped with three balancing weights at the rear end of the handle, each weighing 12 g. We redeveloped the system with our supplier because we were not satisfied with the hold of the rod weights previously available on the market. Of course, we also installed Fuji SIC guides on the high-quality rod. In addition to the robust and permanently installed hook eye, another highlight is an unobtrusive 1m marking. This means that a meter pike can be quickly identified by simply holding on to the rod (1m tie to the lower edge of the cork handle before the balancing weights or the end cap comes = 100 cm). Note: Specified rod weight without compensation weights; but with end cap / specified trunk length & rear handle length including 3 mounted balance weights
