We developed this hook, which is exclusively available from us, together with VMC according to the ideas of Johannes Dietel. As perch fishing is the main area of application for the Rushka Hook, we paid particular attention to sharpness during the development phase. We deliberately chose a slightly thinner wire thickness in order to achieve maximum hook sharpness. However, the hook is not too thin either. After all, the Rushka Hook should also be able to handle by-catches of large zander or even pike. It proved this very often during the test phase. The barb is quite small. Together with the super-smooth Teflon coating, this also helps the hook to penetrate the fish's mouth wonderfully. A smaller barb is also perch-friendly. But don't worry; the size of the barb is sufficient for the point to remain securely anchored in the mouth even with wildly head-shaking fish. In addition to use on rushka and cheburashka or chatter and spinner rushka, you can also use this hook for dropshotting, on Carolina, Texas, free and kickback rigs, for soft jerks (preferably in conjunction with tungsten nail sinkers) or for numerous other applications that exist in perch fishing. The Rushka Hook is equipped with a molded "resin knob" with two short, protruding pieces of fluorocarbon (these can also be shortened as desired). This fixes the rubber bait securely on the hook shank without damaging it or even causing it to burst when it is pulled on, as is often the case with coarser metal baitkeepers. The eye is also sealed with resin. If you tie the Rushka Hook directly to your leader with some methods, you run no risk of damaging your FC or thin steel. We have dimensioned the eye size so that the Rushka Hook fits perfectly with our Rushka system and can also be fished on the conventional Chebu. Nevertheless, it is delicate enough that the Rushka Hook is also ideal for rigs where the hook is attached directly to the leader. The hook bend is deliberately slightly larger. This makes the Rushka Hook a universally applicable hook that can be combined with almost any rubber shape. The bite yield is also as good as possible with voluminous rubber baits. However, the wire thickness means that even the use of very delicate lures is no problem.
