The Kyanite Fly is the ideal rod for ambitious fly fishermen and offers everything a Sportex angler wouldn’t want to miss. The superlight HM carbon blank is created with all the quality and precision associated with the Sportex brand. It performs with absolute harmony, is forgiving of mistakes but also powerful – and can surprise even the most seasoned caster. Whether overhead casting, switch casting or roll casting, Kyanite Fly rods create extra tight loops that are equally targeted and precise. In the lower line weights, the rods are perfectly adjusted to the fine-tuned requirements of delicate fishing with dry flies and nymphs, while the more powerful models love heavy streamers and relish tackling bigger pike, asp and sea trout. The Kyanite is an absolute joy to use and has the scope to do so much more than other rods in the same class. The matt green blank comes with perfectly matched snake guides, a very light aluminium reel seat with wood inlay and a high quality cork handle. The rod is available in weights 3 to 8 and in lengths from 360cm to 300cm.
