Zander are considered to be extremely cautious fish that are difficult to catch. In order to develop an optimal shad for zander fishing, you need to know the feeding behavior:Bait shape: The zander does not bite like e.g. a pike, but it opens its mouth in a flash shortly before reaching the prey, which creates a negative pressure and thus the prey fish is literally inhaled. For this reason, zander prefer slender rubbers that are particularly easy to suck in.Tail plates: In contrast to pike, zander generally do not like strongly flanking rubbers with large tail plates. They prefer a compact tail plate that glides smoothly through the water.Colors: Color should primarily appeal to the hunting instinct, or at least make him curious.
