Our new Adrenalin multi-reel series has been completely redesigned. Not a simple update but a high-performance reel that has been developed from scratch. And none other than the well-known sea angler Rainer Korn put this series through its paces for us until the reels were perfected down to the last detail. Both reels are left-hand models, i.e. the crank is operated with the left hand. AX 12 LH: Our all-rounder for Norway and for fishing in warm climates. Ideal for fishing with artificial lures but also for natural bait rigs. Gear ratio 5,8:1, Capacity: 500m 0,25mm, Line retraction per handle turn: 92cm. FEATURES: HOUSING: The one-part housings are made from a block of 6061-T6 aluminium. This type of aluminium is also used in aircraft construction; it is distinguished by an extremely low weight yet is extremely resilient. FORM: The form of the housing and spool facilitates very even line lay, even if the line is brought in fast; and it also prevents the line from knotting. Nevertheless the reels have sufficient line capacity! SURFACE TREATMENT: The entire housing is sandblasted and provides excellent protection against aggressive saltwater. GEAR: The whole gear is made from non-corrosive stainless steel. This also applies to every single screw or spring. LEVER-SHIFT DRAG: This infinitely adjustable carbon / stainless steel drag system, which works brilliantly, is impressive owing to a jerk-free, even drag action – both at 40 degrees on the Ebro and at minus temperatures on the Lofoten. The drag disks are made from hardened carbon. BALL BEARINGS: The reels are equipped with 8 stainless steel ball bearings and one needle bearing. The infinite system has absolutely no backlash. Handle: The ergonomic handles are also made of aluminium. 2 ball bearings let them run absolutely freely. FREE-RUN: There are arguably only a few reels with such a sensationally smooth free-run function.
