The Gamakatsu - G-Carp Snagger is a hook with perfect and very special properties that not every carp hook has to offer. The hook is forged in a special shape, which ensures that the Gamakatsu - G-Carp Snagger automatically turns towards the lower lip of the carp and hooks into it very quickly. The eye of the G-Carp Snagger is angled downwards at a 28° angle. Therefore, the hook does not necessarily have to be tied as a line aligner. The Gamakatsu - G-Carp Snagger is well suited for the Withy Pool Rig and has a micro barb. The micro barb reduces injuries in the carp's mouth to a minimum and the hook is very easy to release. With a super thin and razor-sharp hook point and the flat and curved shanks, the Gamakatsu - G-Carp Snagger is an ideal hook for fishing for carp. The special material makes the hook extremely resistant, powerful and durable. Thanks to the PTFE coating, the Gamakatsu - G-Carp Snagger adapts optimally to the environment and thus increases the chances of success.
Gamakatsu is known for its innovative developments and technologies. The Japanese manufacturer's hooks are made from high carbon steel, which is far superior to conventional steel in terms of hardness, strength and durability. The A1 material developed by Gamakatsu has a high proportion of carbon and vanadium and is free from impurities. Every single Gamakatsu - G-Carp Snagger hook is made even more resistant and stronger in a tempering process after production. The hooks are then coated with PTFE. The thin hook point remains free so that it does not lose any of its sharpness. The PTFE coating makes the G-Carp Snagger less conspicuous and at the same time reduces the magnetic radiation of the high carbon steel.
