Gear Aid Aquasure permanently repairs and seals waders and trousers made of GORE-TEX fabric and other waterproof materials such as neoprene, rubber, polyurethane etc. Also repairs large holes and tears in fishing umbrellas, bivvies and fishing bags etc. - without the need for patches ... In fact, almost anything that is flexible and needs to be repaired. Also ideal for repairing the connections of wellington boots to waders or for attaching felt soles to boots. The repair is child's play. For small holes up to approx. 1 mm (e.g. from thorn punctures), simply apply Aquasure with a brush on and around the hole (leaving approx. 5 mm overhang all round) and leave to dry overnight. Done. Fix cracks smoothly from one side with household adhesive tape. Apply Aquasure to and around the crack from the other side with a brush (depending on the size of the crack, approx. 1-2 cm overhang), leave to dry overnight and remove the adhesive tape on the back.
