It has all the hook characteristics that make it an indestructible helper for carp fishing that can withstand even the strongest pressure.
The hook point of the Gamakatsu - G-Carp Specialist RX is ultra-thin and razor-sharp. It is turned inwards. This has the advantage that the tip is not damaged when hitting stones and rocks and retains its sharpness. This effect is supported by the 15° inwardly angled eye. The Gamakatsu - G-Carp Specialist RX has a very large hook shank, which makes it an exceptionally powerful and resistant carp hook. It is ideal for river fishing and shows its excellent properties especially during a fight with a lot of pressure. The fish's mouth is not slit by this hook. The Gamakatsu - G-Carp Specialist RX ensures high catch chances, especially when used with a pop-up rig on the D Rig.
Like all Gamakatsu hooks, the G-Carp Specialist RX is made from A1 high carbon steel. This absolutely pure material has a high proportion of carbon and vanadium and is harder, stronger and more durable than any normal steel. The Gamakatsu hooks are additionally hardened in a tempering process. Due to the special material and the innovative technologies, the Gamakatsu - G-Carp Specialist RX are 20 % stronger, 25 % harder and twice as durable as hooks made of normal steel.
