This is not only ‘called’ fluorocarbon, it is real 100% fluorocarbon manufactured in Japan. Due to its refractive index Illusion is almost totally invisible underwater and its characteristics are unique because in addition to being inconspicuous it has an outstanding breaking strain in relation to diameter, low stretch in comparison to other fluorocarbon lines and incredible abrasion resistance thanks to a special coating which ensures a high breaking strain even when knotted to braided lines. It also spools and casts beautifully because it has an unbelievably smooth surface. Illusion is particularly suitable for all modern lure fishing rigs (all Fox RAGE Ready-Rigs are knotted with Illusion) but it also offers great advantages as a main line to give accurate casting, especially at distance.
