DAM - DAMYL Tectan Fluorcarbon

The DAMYL® Tectan® Fluorcarbon has almost the same refraction factor than water and therefore itʼs practically invisible for the fish! This gives a decisive advantage to the angler, especially in clear waters and with shy fish, no matter if as a leader or in whole line length. Due to its special material composition this line does not reach the breaking strength of our regular DAMYL® Tectan®, but in order to equalize this it consists of enormous knot strength, minimum extension as well as a complete UV-resistance with a resulting maximum aging protection. In addition the material is heavier than water which makes it always sink quickly into the water and “vanishes” for the fish.
