Special cushioned tips on the end of the spreader minimize stress to the fish, and also allow for quicker hook removal. The molded and padded, self-locking handle design makes one-hand use comfortable and efficient. The LocJaw Mouth Spreaders are treated with anti-corrosion materials for use in freshwater or saltwater. TEC LocJaws are ergonomically designed and are equipped with a coiled lanyard, with Velcro strap to secure to your wrist or your boat. The LocJaw Mouth Spreader is a great tool to have on board when big toothy fish like saltwater species, pike, musky, or walleye have choked themselves on your bait.
